I graduated from Dickinson State College in 1976 with a degree in Art Education. I taught at Bowman, North Dakota.  I married Kerry Schorsch in 1977.  We own and operate the family farm that was homesteaded by his great grandfather in 1907.  We raise wheat and cattle.  

 

We have two sons: Jack, who is a Biomedical Engineer in Chicago; and Joe, who is a Mechanical Engineer in Miami.  Both presently work in the biomedical field.
